The mission of the 75th ADW at Iwakuni was to provide logistic support-depot level to the 5th Air Force and the United Nations Forces in Korea. The 75th Maintenance Group assumed total support for B-26 aircraft for the theater of operations. This included crash recovery at K-14 Korea and crash/battle damage repair plus periodic inspection of the B-26 aircraft. |
