K-10 Air Base, Korea
K-10 was a small base on the southern coast of South Korea. This base was originally built by the Japanese navy during World War II. The first U.S.M.C. helicopter unit in Korea occupied this base in early 1950-51. Then the 18th Fighter-Bomber Wing flew missions from there and it was known as "Dog Patch" until the 75th arrived. The 75th used this base as a supply depot giving logistic support to the Fifth Air Force.
